Um, anyone else notice how attractive the German men's gymnastics team is?

Rock collecting

Felix has been picking up rocks everywhere. 

I was keeping them on the counter until I actually remembered to take them outside. 

But then I thought why not keep them. So I put them in a container and have been adding to his little treasure bucket as he collects rocks.

Then it hit me he wants glow sticks! 

Personally I like boom chucks better. 

Like nunchucks but better.

Mini Summer Vacation

With lots of family in town we have been up to a lot of fun things! Here is a quick view of what we have been up to in the last week!

Glow bath!!!

We gave the boys glow sticks to play in the bathtub with and turned on the black light!

Google Play

We rented a movie on Google play last night.  It was super nice to not have to drive anywhere to rent a movie. It was a bit pricy for a newer release 3.99 vs. 1.50 at redbox, but it was convenient.  What is super nice is that you could buy a movie and have acces to it from anywhere you have internet service. And not all rentals are 3.99 it looks like the average was 1.99.
I really wish I could have these things combined
Netflix: I can watch lots of old and newer shows and movies for one price
Hulu: I get new shows days after they come out for free and sometimes fairly good movies too.
Google plus: I can rent new movies and buy movies via the internet instead of paying for a service.
Anyways if you have not tried it check it out. You can also upload your music into google play. Which we are thinking about because i-tunes takes up so much space.

Fire in Alpine and other places in Utah

So, I have been looking at lots of fires in my area lately. I look them up online to see what is going on if it effects people I know etc...

The one currently in Alpine is fairly close to where my family was camping this weekend. I read the article in the Deseret news and this was the top comment that I saw:

There are reports that the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is sending fire fighting money to Utah.

How can that be?

It must be sent back immediately.

Let the people who built their homes in the path of the fires exercise some good ol' American Personal Responsibility and put those fires out themselves. Why should I, as a taxpayer, be paying for their fires?

Mitt says we don't need more firefighters. Send them all home and let Personal Responsibility take over. "
