Happy Mothers Day!

Thanks again to all the women who have been in my life! I am continually grateful for the strong examples I have had from Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, Teachers and Leaders. I would not be who I am without you. Make sure you celebrate being a woman and womanhood! What an awesome thing it is!

Magellan

2 weeks ago we noticed that Magellan was not using his left foot. We made an appointment with the vet. A few days later he stopped using his right foot as well. At the vet we found out that he was loosing feeling in his legs and had already lost feeling in his tail. Today he had a follow up appointment. He probably has a tumor in his spine. ( we didn't want to pay for a MRI or CAT scan on a rat) Magellan has not let this get him down at all. He sill gets around, and still tries to assert his dominance over Risky and The Little Guy. (it is really cute to watch, he props himself onto his butt and boxes with them through the cage) He is also more snuggly than he was. I really have ben enjoying holding him and petting him. All we can do for him now is keep him happy and comfortable.

Rats are great pets. They are my little cats. I am so happy Justin convinced me to get them. I just love their feet and hands.

I am so excited about seeing this movie. It looks pretty faithful to the cartoon. If you have not seen the cartoon, check it out. They currently play it on nick toons, or rent it from your local video store. Your kids will love you for it.

Reader

In the last week Justin has helped me set up a google reader account. It is a lot of fun. I am gad he did it. I got confused the first time I tried to do it. Let me know if you would like to be a friend on reader and I can add you. It is a fun way to see cool stuff and easily check up on my favorite blogs.

So FAST!

Justin in the 4 by 1. He is in the lead! This was several weeks ago at BYU. I love to watch him run. I really hope things work out so he can run next year. Keep your fingers crossed for us. Go UVU!

Spring Break!

We went up to Salt Lake and we visited my dad's office. He has a great view of Temple Square.

Strawberry Pancakes for breakfast. They tured out super yummy!

The sweet Shop is so much fun. I love the homemade fudge, there is a huge variety. there is so much candy. When we were there in the fall they had caramel apples. I think this was my nephews favorite part of the day.

Our new Hobby is Orchids.

They thrive on neglect.

Also, they are about as addictive as crack.

Since purchasing our first one we have bought 4 more, and would like to get more.

I don't think we have any more room in our bathroom. Unless we started growing them on the wall...

I went to the natural history museum in Salt Lake. It is free the first Monday of every month!

We also went to Garder Village, it was nice to visit it durring an off time.

Felix loves to look at things these days. It has been a lot of fun to take him places and just watch him. It is so much fun to have a child.

We found some super sweet necklaces. They are all illustrations from Alice in Wonderland. It was really hard to choose which one to buy. I am tempted to go back and get another....
